Don Hart is a composer / orchestrator / arranger living in
Nashville, Tennessee. Don has composed and arranged music that has been
played by numerous symphony orchestras and chamber groups, including
ensembles from Nashville, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. His work for broadcast
has been heard on A&E, CNN, TBS and the History Channel. He is currently
working on commissions for the Nashville Ballet and the Nashville Chamber
Orchestra, and has been nominated for a Grammy (2005) in the arranging category.

Don's recent work includes arranging for Trey Anastasio's
(formerly of Phish) new solo album, Martina McBride, Collective Soul, Amy
Grant, the Mavericks, Suzy Bogguss, Randy Travis, Raul Malo, and Darrell
Scott, as well as new artists like Michelle Poe and Bering Strait. His
string arrangements were heard on Martina¹s single "In My Daughter's Eyes"
and Travis' 2005 Grammy winning "Worship and Praise" album. Other artists he
has arranged and orchestrated for include Marty Stuart, Rick Trevino, John
Bindel, Lonestar, Andy Williams, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sandi Patty, Tim
O'Brien, Peter Rowan, and Nanci Griffith.

In the choral field Don has been published by a number of
companies, including Hal Leonard and Word Entertainment. He has also
arranged and orchestrated for McGraw-Hill's music curriculum series. In
1990 Don won advertising's Clio award, and in 1991 he netted Gospel Music's
Dove award for musical album of the year.
